Hair Dye Page
Hey! This part of the page will concern bout the colors of my hair that it's been, hopefully one day I can be one of those people who has like 40 pictures on here of different hair colors.. So far, it's been about 5 different colors since school has started, however, it was the shade "Bald" for about 3 weeks as a result of all of my hair breaking off from a bleaching accident. Oh well, hair grows back. Sorry if some of these pictures are bad, but if you know me, then you pretty much know what it looked like.
Crayon Yellow-
This color was the color that I came into school with, and after extensive research, was my first true attempt at dying my hair blond. I was so happy that it came out this light that I had to scan my head and e-mail it to my friends about my new hair. I didn't think that it looked too bad, but now that I look at a picture that one of my friend's has with me in sunlight, it's kind of like, whoah, that's really yellow. I'll see if I can get it for a scan, because this picture of me pressing my face against the glass of a scanner has to go! Anyway, I got this very yellow color by bleaching my hair twice with Clairol 7th Stage, with 40 volume developer.
SnoWhite-
I got this white shade by bleaching my hair once with Clairol 7th Stage w/40 vol. developer and left it on for 90 minutes, and then again the next day using Wella Wellite w/40 vol. dev. for 90 min. This brought it down to a real light unnatural looking pale yellow. After that, I applied Manic Panic in Virgin Snow . White hair is fun an all, but it tended to yellow and go drab annoyingly fast, so I had to use Shimmer Lights shampoo about every other day so it'd stay white.
Spilled Ink Red-
Okay, I had a picture of it up here, but it was a really bad picture of the actual color, but it's a purply-red color that resembles the color of your hand when a black Bic ballpoint pen explodes on your hand. When you step out into the sun light, it's a real cool shade of deep red. It's hard to explain, but if your on my dorm floor, then you already know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I got this color by accident. I bleached first so the color would soak up better, and then used Ultress Dark Red, but I left it on for so long that it almost became black, but when I rinsed it out, it was a dark dark red. I then lied and told everyone that I dyed it with a color called Ink and that it was supposed to look like that.
Light Ash Blonde-
This is the color that my hair usually is these days . It was done by a bleaching of Wella Speedlite and Excellence toner colors Dark Blonde and Light Ash Blonde mixed together.
Ash Brown-
One haircut later after being light ash blonde, I was left with black sides and roots and almost white ash blond top. So I just bleached my roots and sides down to a light orangy-yellow with a bleaching of Wella Wellite, and then applied Ultress Light Ash Brown to my sides and roots only and left it on for about 45 minutes, and then put the remaining mixture on the blonde part of my head for about 10 minutes, which sucked up the color real fast. After I washed it out, I was left with steely looking almost-black, dark looking brown sides and roots, and a light ash brown on the top.
